21 Years of Combined City and State Experience.
13 years as Boulder City Planning Commissioner.
Reviewing new and existing projects, building plans, zoning regulations, and public hearings to determine the appropriate recommendation to the Boulder City Council.
Knowledge includes Boulder City Ordinances, procedures, Boulder City Charter, project research, and procedures of the Boulder City Council.
8 years Nevada State Board of Cosmetology
Appointed by former governors James Gibson and Brian Sandoval.
Drafting of new legislation through collaboration with other committee members, businesses, legislators, and legal experts.
Other duties included the amendment of current laws for cosmetology, committee hearings, and public hearings.
Collaborated effectively with all political parties.
A Champion for Our Children’s Future

Whether making personal donations for causes that have a positive impact on our children’s future or through personal action, the children of Boulder City, Nevada, are an important part of my life.”
Awarded the Boy's and Girl’s Club Women of the year 1999, 2000.
Worked tirelessly to provide Boulder City children with a safe place to play and after-school programs.
With dedication and help of the wonderful people of Boulder City and a $50,000 grant from the National Boys and Girls Club.
Funding provided after school activities.
Developed needed safe places for children to laugh and play.
Community Environmental Activities

The beauty, environment, and heath of Boulder City residents are part of our future by electing me. In the mid-1990s, I was involved with a local group fighting to keep a class 4 landfill out of the Eldorado Valley. The many hazards of a class 4 landfill are well documented. It was a tough fight but worth it.
A Passion for Main Street Boulder City, Nevada
“At the heart of the Great American dream is main street America and the proud local business-owners that give our teenagers their first job, support local community clubs, sports teams, and non-profit organizations. As a resident for 36-years, that’s how I see Boulder City, Nevada.”
For many years I had a team that did a television show that allowed businesses to introduce themselves to the community if they were new, having a sale, or a new product. It also lets the different organizations share their upcoming events or services they provided.

President for two years and a member for years.
Raising money and giving donations to organizations like the Senior center when the refrigerator went out.
Doodlebug Bizarre. All money that is raised stays in Boulder City, Nevada.
Spring Jamboree Host for 18 Years
“Anyone that knows me, knows I love animals. Bark in the Park allows me to share my love of animals along with raising awareness to homeless animals and the dog park See Spot Run. Every loving home should have a pet.”
